Competitions
For those who are interested in competing, we offer high quality training and support including the opportunity to attend national and international events.

What training do we offer?
We have a range of training for those who are experienced athletes or people wanting to learn more. Regular competition classes will be held for our competition squad to advance their skills. Alongside squad sessions, we also have space for 1 to 1 private sessions in person and online with all of our coaches.
How Do Hachi Squad Selections Work?
We are always looking out for students that are interested in competing. When a student is ready to begin their competitive journey, one of the Head Coaches will award the individual with an invitation letter to confirm your place on the Hachi Competition Squad. All choices regarding squad members/ selections is at the discretion of the head coaches. Selections may be made at any time.
England Squad Opportunities
Students who compete for Hachi will compete nationally with the highest level competition being the British Championships. Students showing commitment and dedication to competing will be invited by the Head Coaches to attend EKA Squad Training. Here you will have the opportunity to be selected to compete for England Internationally. All decisions regarding England Squad selections are at the discretion of Sensei Gary Foxwell (English Karate Academy Head Coach).
